Ever since we traveled to Japan I have wanted a Japanese bathroom. This is a huge step in that direction and not as difficult as I had feared. Why doesn't everyone have one of these?
I didn't think I'd need the remote control and would probably be fine with the attached console, but the remote gives access to a few more functions which I find handy. I found a deal on an promotional version of the DI600 on Tooaleta so opted for this over the BA13 for about €25 more than the Coway price of the BA13.
Since this seat is made for the American market, installation was a snap. For us the hardest part was getting an outlet installed near the toilet. If an outlet is available, hooking up the water, attaching the seat to the bowl, and attaching the remote holder to the wall might take 20 or 30 minutes. We had to buy a new water supply line because ours was rigid instead of flexible pipe and with the Y adapter that gets installed between the pipe and the tank the distance from the wall to the tank decreased.
So far, I've turned off the heated seat but am looking forward to having that when the colder weather sets in.
The dryer function doesn't do much for me, so I still use paper to dry off, again I might use that more in the winter. Seems like it would work better if you just used rear spray without the front spray but as a woman I like to use front most of the time. My impression is that the front spray is designed more for monthly cycle issues, the spay hits a little farther back even on the most forward position than I think I want for urine, but if I just lean forward a little, I feel like I get good coverage everywhere needed.
I have my settings for water pressure and position so after the first couple uses most of the buttons on the remote are not necessary, but I'm glad they are adjustable. I like the oscillate feature. Pulsate is ok, but I think oscillate does a better job for thorough cleaning.

I have had trouble getting the water temperature where I want it. I think with the energy saver feature on, it keeps turning my water temp back down from 5 to 3 bars. I will have to play with that some more. So far the temperature has been fine, but I might want it to stay at 5 bars when it gets colder.
Overall this has been a wonderful addition to my house. It compares well to what I remember using in Japan. At first trying all the buttons was fun, but the novelty wore off quickly. Now I just don't feel as clean without it. (Posted on 1/22/16)

I ordered this high end bidet add on for our master bath toilet that my husband uses. He has a degenerative neuromuscular disease, and by all reports from our support group, a bidet was something that will make toilet sessions much better for him and his caregivers. Not to mention that I LOVE IT, TOO. I compared this product line to Geberit, and one of the primary selling features for the electronic remote control models available was ease of remote control use. I am visually impaired and wanted something clear and straightforward, and the remote is perfect. I tried every feature on the bidet last night after I cam home and our handyman had installed it. I didn't even have to read the 26+ page manual to use it!

All of the features worked as outlined, and I am pleased with all the options. We went with the Maro for all the comfort features, and we are both glad we made that choice. (Posted on 12/29/15)

Easily the best bidet seat i ever tried and i travel to Japan on a monthly basis. Very impressive...Italians know what they are doing.
